Donald Lee Dooley

Donald “Donnie” Lee Dooley, 74, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mae and Marshall Dooley; brothers, Boyd Dooley, Tommy Dooley, Robert Dooley, and Marshall Dooley; and grandchildren, Joshua Roberts, Robbie Shively, and Jessika Dooley.

Donnie is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Dooley; daughters, Robin MacFarland (Jeff) and Donna Flournoy (Ray); son, Lee Dooley (Chris); brothers, Kenneth Dooley (Robin) and Buddy Dooley; grandchildren, Eric Shively (Mariah), Chris Roberts, Joey Flournoy (Chandler), Summer Seamster, and Shelby Seamster;

great grandchildren, Nate Roberts, Kayleigh Roberts, Travis Roberts, Leo Flournoy, and Bodhi Flournoy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donnie courageously served in the United States Army. He was a NASCAR fan, truck driver for 54 years, and loving husband and father.

The family will have a Visitation on Monday, September 14, 2026 from 3:00 – 5:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019.
