Donald Lee Sink

February 18, 1934 - April 24, 2024

Donald Lee Sink, 90, of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Roberta M Sink.

He is survived by brother, Larry Sink and wife Jean, his children, Michael Sink, Donna Smith and husband Joey, and Robin Meador. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Joshua Meador, Allison Smith and husband Kyle Brady, Tyler Smith and wife Bekah, and Emily Meador and two great grandchildren, Gabby and Emmitt.

He was born in Roanoke to the late Robert C Sink and Lillian D Sink on February 18, 1934. He was a proud service member as he served as a sergeant in the United States Army. He was a long time manager for Graves-Humphreys Inc in Roanoke and retired from Crouse-Hinds.

He was a faithful member of Evangel Church serving as treasurer, council member and usher for over many years. He frequently talked about his church family knowing stories about each and every member and was proud to be a part of the Evangel community. He was known to his family as the puzzle master choosing to spend most days working on a puzzle, the more colors, design, and challenging, the better. He was also an avid consumer of history, particularly the history of America’s participation in wars throughout the last century.
