Donald Readford Hamilton

Donald Readford Hamilton, 95, of Dublin, passed away Friday, August 7, 2026. He was a U. S. Army Korean War 11th Airborne Division veteran and a member of Dublin church of God of Prophecy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Lottie Mae Akers Hamilton; brothers, Garnette Hamilton and Orlando William Campbell; and sisters, Arbutus Hopkins, Phyllis Bratton and Dreama Campbell Reid. The family would like to give a special thanks to his church family at Dublin Church of God of Prophecy. Survivors include his brother, Jody Martin (Barbara); many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Inurnment with full military honors will take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
