Donnie Howard Parker

Donnie Howard Parker, 74, passed away on June 4, 2024. He was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on February 6, 1950 to the late Dorothy Alene Rigney Parker and the late Hermon Washington Parker. Donnie was of the Christian Faith and worked as a farmer previous to his retirement.

Donnie is survived by two sons; Donnie Wayne Parker and (Cindy) and Charles Howard Parker, both of Dry Fork, VA; two sisters; Judy Wallace (Dennis) of Dry Fork, VA and Gail Goard (Robert) of Chatham, VA; nephew; Brian Pritchett (Cheryl); three nieces; Tracey Phelps, Tammy Davis (Danny), and Brittany Custer; and a special close friend Judy Spence.

In addition to his parents, Donnie, was predeceased by a sister; Susan Custer and husband of his niece Tracey; Bryan Phelps.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:00am at Danville Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Mike Hearp officiating. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Judy Wallace.
