Doris Ann Rose Bowman

Doris Ann Rose Bowman, 69, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. She was born July 16, 1953, in Tazewell County, Virginia, to the late Joseph Rose and Daisy Marie Alley Rose. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Rose and Jackie Rose.

She was a member of People’s Church of the Living God, and enjoyed serving the Lord and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Laverne Bowman; daughter, Sharon Frazier; sister, JoAnn Fain; grandchildren, Jesse, Joey, Joshua, Alex, Felicia and Aveon; and great-grandchild, Adler Logan.

The Memorial Service will be Friday, December 2, 2022, at 6:30 PM at Peoples Church of the Living God, 8136 Fairystone Park Highway, Bassett, Virginia, with Reverend Dwayne Pruitt officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
