Mr. Dustin Ray Collins, age 39, of Ararat, NC, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at his home. He was born on August 25, 1984 in Forsyth County to Timmothy Collins and Rita Holyfield. Left to cherish his memory are a daughter, Journey Cheyenne Collins; sisters, Angela and Amber Collins; brothers, Chris Dawson and Luke Holyfield; parents, Timmothy Collins (Teresa), and Rita Holyfield; grandmother, Mary Collins. Mr. Collins was preceded in death by grandparents, Belva and Lewis Cobler, Coy Collins. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Rev. Harold Bowman Jr and Rev. Ryan Whitt. Burial will follow in New Beginnings Baptist Church Cemetery in Ararat. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:30 PM until the time for the service at the funeral home.
