Dwayne Deljuan Perry

Dwayne Deljuan Perry, 63, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026. He was born August 28, 1964, in Portsmouth, Virginia to the late Billy Perry and Juanita Pierce.

Dwayne attended Galilean House of Worship. He never met a stranger and genuinely loved being around people. Known for his sense of humor, Dwayne kept those around him laughing, and there was rarely a dull moment when he was around. He worked for Coast to Coast Cleaning Service and took pride in his work. Above all, Dwayne will be remembered for his kind heart, easygoing spirit, and the joy he brought to family and friends.

He is survived by his fiancee, Gwendolyn Burgess; sisters, Jeanette Hill, Catherine Hill, and Emma Jean Pierce; and brother, Clifton Hill.

Although services will be private, the family wishes to express their profound gratitude for all of the love, prayers, and many good deeds sent their way during this time of grief.
