Dwayne Hollandsworth

Dwayne Hollandsworth, 57, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at his home. He was born August 6, 1965, in Martinsville, Virginia, to Nancy Tuggle Hollandsworth Faw and the late Maynard Allen Hollandsworth. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Minton Hollandsworth; and brother, Maynard Owen Overby, Jr. He was a member of Blackberry Baptist Church and loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and paintball guns. He was taking Hapkido classes. Dwayne is survived by his mother; son, Stephen Hollandsworth; sister, Cynthia Hatchett (Rodney); brother, Thomas Hollandsworth; grandchildren, Urijah Hollandsworth and Elias Hollandsworth; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, with visitation thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will be private.
