Elizabeth Ann Collier

Elizabeth Ann Collier, 86, widow of James W. Collier, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 18, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel Mullins Shepherd. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Annette Evans.

Elizabeth was a member of Connelly Memorial Baptist Church for more than 30 years. She worked her entire career in customer service both in a retail and a banking setting.

She will be missed and remembered by her sons and their wives, Raymond and Tammy Perdue, Michael Perdue, Larry and Amy Perdue; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Connelly Memorial Baptist Church, 6840 Thirlane Road, Roanoke, VA 24019.

Services will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Chapel. Interment will follow services at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 6-8 pm at Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Chapel.
