Elizabeth Jones Mullis

Elizabeth “Lisa” Jones Mullis, 63, passed away on September 26, 2026. Lisa was born in Danville, VA on August 7, 1963 to the late Ruth Stelley Jones and Mr. Langhorne Jones Jr.

Lisa was a lifelong resident of Chatham and was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Chatham, VA. She worked for many years for Davenport Energy, previous to her retirement. She was also a past member of the Chatham Rotary Club and the Chatham Garden Club.

In addition to her father, Lisa is survived by a daughter; Emily Mullis and fiancé Harper Jones of Knightdale, NC; and a brother Geoffrey L. Jones and wife Shelley of Roaring Gap, NC.

A Graveside Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 11:00am at Hillcrest Burial Park, Chatham, VA with Pastor Becky Crites officiating.
