Elizabeth Louise Burks Lollis

Elizabeth Louise Burks Lollis, 72, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Elizabeth was born in Bluefield, WV on January 6, 1954 to the late Louise Hankla Burks and the late Leighton Jackson Burks. She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Mr. Ronald Daron Lollis.

Elizabeth was of the Christian Faith. She worked for almost 40 years as a registered nurse, previous to her retirement.

In addition to her husband, Elizabeth is survived by a daughter; Amanda Lollis Smith (Ian) of Danville, VA; two sons; Matthew Dane Lollis (Katie) and Cory Jackson Lollis (Selina) both of Danville, VA; a brother; Leighton Burks; five grandchildren; Colton, Corissa, Elaina, Sydney, and Kenton.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 2:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with Pastor Doug Barber officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service on the same day from 1-2:00pm also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA.
