Elizabeth Rebecca Day

Elizabeth K. ( Becky) Day, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024. She was born on August 22, 1945 in Bluefield, WV, a daughter of the late Alfred R. Kidd and Gwendolyn C. Kidd, and she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Earl A. Day.She was a graduate of Radford College and Virginia Tech. Becky was a retired educator, having taught chemistry and science. She was an active member of Windsor Hills United Methodist Church. Her family was very important to her, she loved them and enjoyed spending time with them.She is survived by her son, Benjamin Day, Grandson, Christian Day, brothers,Robin Kidd (Susan) and Tucker Kidd (Renee), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday April 6, 2024 at the Electric Road Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home 3912 Electric Rd. Roanoke, VA with Rev. Jennifer Fletcher officiating.
