Mrs. Ellen Rose Senter Southern, age 86, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 at High Point Hospice Home. She was born on May 5, 1938 in Surry County to the late Thomas and Maude Puckett Senter. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ambrose Southern; daughter and son-in-law, Vicky Pierce (Jay); son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Dale Southern (Miriam); grandchildren, John Wesley Pierce, Deidra Pierce, Julia Southern Robertson (Corbin); great-grandchild, Weston Pierce; brother, Thomas William Senter. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Skyline Memory Gardens. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
