Elvis Glen Dalton, 91, of Bassett, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Stanleytown Health and Rehab in Bassett. He was born on April 15, 1932, in Carroll County, to the late Flurnoy and Essie Nester Dalton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.

Elvis is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mary Largen Dalton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where the funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM in the Bobbit Cemetery in Hillsville.
