Esther Gibbs Dalton

Our mom, Esther Gibbs Dalton, 96, passed peacefully through Heaven’s Gate on Sunday, June

29th.

A lifelong resident of Pulaski, she is survived by her son, Keith Dalton and wife Leslie of Dublin;

her son, Mike Dalton and wife Gina of Glen Allen; and her daughter Sandra North and husband

Ronald of Charlottesville. She is also survived by her sister Myrtle (Peachie) Scott and husband

Reggie of Pulaski, and a brother Kent (Arlie) of Elyria, Ohio.

Our dad, William Dalton, preceded her in death nine years ago after 62 years of marriage. It

comforts us to know that they are now reunited. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Ruth

Knode and a brother, Donald both of Pulaski.

We would like to give very special thanks to the administrative staff at Highland Ridge and the

nurses on Unit C for becoming our extended family for the last 19 months. Thank you Elizabeth

Queen for sharing hours of faith-based readings, singing, prayers, and conversations with her

every week. Thank you to the Hospice team who also embraced us as family and quickly came

to love mom like we did.

We will miss our mom. Her five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren will miss their Nana.

But, we each hold special memories with her that will forever live in our hearts.

The family is in the care of Norris Funeral Services - Pulaski Chapel.
