Ethel Eva Johnson Carter, age 90 went to Heaven Saturday, March 14, 2026 to be with all her loved ones: her parents, Charlie and Eva Johnson; five brothers, Oliver, Tommy, Jack, Charles and John Johnson; two sisters, Ann Slate and Louise Peters; and James Peters.She leaves behind two daughters, Patricia (Penny) DeHart and Rosemary Holley (Earl, deceased) in Wirtz; granddaughters, Linda Sexton (Travis) and her best friend, Janice of Sandy Level, Cynthia Hudson (Billy); grandson, Corey DeHart; great-granddaughters, Amber Hudson (Owen), Brooke Hudson, Dale and Cassie Sexton; and one great-great-grandson, Jasper Ray.Our Mother and Granny was a loving woman who has a smile and hug for everyone, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to talk with all of us daily and always had loving advice. Our Mother and Granny was happy and had a wonderful uplifting attitude. Laughter was a big part of her personality and blessing for all of us. She didn’t let the worries of the world get her down.Granny loved bird watching, trees budding, and flowers blooming in the spring.
