Ethel Lynn Sexton

Ethel Lynn Sexton, 66, transitioned from her earthly life June 5, 2025, in Dobson, North Carolina. She was born May 15, 1959, to William Farley and the late Letha Ball Farley in Pike County, Kentucky.

In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her sisters, Sharon Scott, D.J. Farley; brothers, Robert Farley, Donald Farley, Allen Farley, William Edward Farley, Brian Farley; nephew, Randy Farley; and several aunts and uncles.

Ethel worked in the food service industry, spending over 25 years with McDonald’s and Hardees. In her free time, she could be found watching soap operas and listening to country music. She was an avid wrestling fan who truly enjoyed life and laughter. She adored all pets, whether at home or in the neighborhood. She never met a stranger and made friends with everyone. Of all of her adventures, her favorite trips were to visit her father in Kentucky.

While Ethel may be gone, the impact of her life is far from over. Her memory will be kept alive in the hearts of her loving husband with whom she shared over 20 years, Allen Sexton; daughter, Mildred Boggs; sons, Jerry Farley, Jason Farley (Lisa); brothers, David Farley, Johnny Farley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Sandra Martin (Bruce); numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A visitation will be held Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
