Eugene Branch, Sr.

Eugene Branch, Sr., 80, of Martinsville, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022. He was born December 31, 1941, in New Jersey, to the late Richard Branch and Gertrude Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Holloman Branch; sister. Elizabeth Branch; and brother, Richard Branch.

Eugene attended Shiloh Way of the Cross Church in Christ and sang in TMC, and the Adult Choir. He was a dedicated employee of the school system for more than forty years and a male CNA for forty plus years. He loved his family, enjoyed being outdoors, loved baseball, watching westerns, and eating at McDonalds.

He is survived by his daughters, Catherine Myer (Gregory), Cynthia Branch; son, Eugene Branch, Jr., and grandchildren, Quinnisha R. Barbour-Bridewell, Kiara N. Stultz, G’miya L. Myers, Jaquion D. Moss and Cedejah Myers.

The funeral will be Friday, December 2, 2022, at 3:30 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Bishop Earley Dillard officiating. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Memorial Park.
