Eugene “Gene” Boles, 79, of Vinton, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Bivens.
Gene is survived by his wife, Arlie Mae Boles; children, Sharon Kreis (Tim), Sandra Hubbard, Mike Coffey (Traci), Brad Boles (Amanda), Angela Bowles, and Melinda Moorman; numerous grand children; numerous great grandchildren; and friends who were like family from Smith Mountain Lake Waterfront Park.
The family will have a Visitation on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019. A Graveside Service will be held the next day on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 11:00am at Wheeler Family Cemetery, 1340 Solomon Road, Vinton VA 24179.
