Evelina Gibson Ratcliff

Evelina Gibson Ratcliff, 85, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024. She was born June 21,1939, in Callands Virginia, to the late General Gibson and Coneva Rigney Gibson.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Ratcliff; daughter, Shirley Marie Simpkins; sister, Daisy Adkins; brother, Austin Gibson; and grandson, Timothy Simpkins.Evelina was of the Baptist faith and attended Spring Street Baptist Church.She is survived by her son, Earl Guilliums (Diane); grandson, Jerry Hiatt (Kathy); ten great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.Services will be at a later date.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
