Evelyn Stone Deal

Evelyn Stone Deal, 94, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at her residence. She was born on July 8, 1929, in Virginia to the late Annie Lovell Stone and Albert Alexander Stone. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lynwood Hoyt Deal, sisters, Vivian Stafford and Erma Wood, and her brother, Rocky Stone.

Mrs. Deal was a member of Villa Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, David Lynwood Deal (Cindy) and her granddaughter, Emily Ray.

Visitation will be held at Norris Funeral Services from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Burial Park with Keith Spangenberg officiating.
