Floyd Lee Allen

Floyd Lee “Turkey” Allen, age 78, of Blacksburg, died on Monday, January 26, 2026, at his home. He was born on January 28, 1947, to the late Lewin and Rachel Jones Allen. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Julia Horton Allen Shrader. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Allen; daughters and sons-in-law, Christy Michelle Allen Wilson (Randy), Viola Dawn Hensel (Chris), Beth Mullins (Brandon), Ashley Bland (R.D.), April Jarels Love (Josh), Harley Jarels; grandchildren, Julian Wilson, Dakota Hensel, Cameron Wall, Jerimiah Mullins, Ryleigh Mullins, Hunter Bland, Cayson Bland, Preston Love, Gavin Love, Christopher Dupriest Jr.; sisters and brother-in-law, Marie Dove, Ruby Spurlock (Jerry); brothers and sisters-in-law, Lewin “Smiley” Allen (Bonnie), Johnny Allen (Renee). The family wishes to extend special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, especially Melissa and Betsy. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Darrell Linkous officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home.
