Frances Lee Brown Parker

Frances Lee Brown Parker, 72, of Lynchburg formerly of Franklin County passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024. She was a daughter of the late, William Fred Brown, Sr. and Margaret Hayslett Brown. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William Brown, Jr.; sister-in-law Carmal Brown; brother-in-law, Jack G Stewart, Jr. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Tony Parker; daughter, Tammy Kanode (Troy); three sisters, Peggy Stewart (John), Dorothy “Dottie” Brown (Marvin) and Linda Winters (James); nieces, Christie and Amber. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 2:00 to 8:00 pm and Sunday, December 29, from 2:00 to 7:00 pm at Lotz Funeral Home, 305 East Washington Ave. Vinton, VA 24179. A celebration of Frances’ life will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, December 30, 2024, at Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton with Pastor Dan Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
