Frances Lee McWilliams of Spout Spring, Virginia
August 18, 1942 - February 15, 2023

Frances Lee McWilliams, 80, of Spout Spring, died Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at her residence.

Born in Arlington, August 18, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Madeline Virginia Failes Sauls and Robert Spencer Sauls. Lee attended Appomattox Court House Presbyterian Church.  She was a great mother, wonderful sister, loved God’s creation of nature especially as evident in caring for her rock cactus garden.  Lee was a fantastic cook, quilt maker, giving quilts and food to anyone in need.

She is survived by one brother, Barry Sauls and wife, Brenda; one sister, Judith Litchfield Sauls all of Spout Spring; niece and nephew, Barry Ward Sauls and wife, Krista of Pennsylvania and Chantel Sauls Elder and husband, David of Appomattox; and one great-niece, Brianna Faith Elder.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, MaryBeth McWilliams; one brother, Robert Spencer Sauls, Jr; and one sister, Sally Ann Sauls.
