Frank Julian Justus

Frank Julian Justus, Jr., 80, of Gladstone, Virginia passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born in Nelson County, Virginia on September 02, 1944 to the late Frank J. Justus Sr., and Lucille Watts Justus. He was the paternal grandson of the late Lee Justus and Bell J. Mundy, and maternal grandson of the late Dr. William L. Watts Sr. and Lillie H. Watts. He was also predeceased by his Uncles, Hugh Watts, Richard A. Mundy, Frank F. Watts, and William L. Watts Jr. He was also preceded in death by his Aunts Elizabeth M. Watts and Ida P. Watts. Frank was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He worked for Flowserve as a Machinist for over 42 years. Frank is survived by his wife, Kaye Brown Justus, whom he was married to for nearly 62 years. He is also survived by his children, Annetta Moore (Danny) of Courtland, VA; Frank J. Justus III (Amy) of Gladstone, VA; Christopher Justus Sr. (Jaime) of Gladstone, Va. He leaves behind the cherished legacy of his eight beloved grandchildren: Kaye E. Moore, Dale T. Moore (Kelsey), Michael J. Justus, Peyton D. Justus, Christopher D. Justus Jr. (Marisol), Caitlin N. Justus, Dakota L. Justus, and Madison E. Justus. He also has nine great-grandchildren survived by him: Brooklyn N. Bennett, Vincent T. Justus, Braelyn Gilbert, Gentrie M. Gilbert, Liam A. Justus, Joanna E. Justus, Sasha M. Justus, Jackson D. Justus, and Emery L. Moore. He is survived by his aunt, Virginia M. Cyrus(Willie). He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Carol B. Harton (Tom) of Akin, SC and Donna B. Wall of King, NC. A memorial service is scheduled to be held at Driskill Funeral Chapel in Amherst on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Driskill Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
