Mrs. Frankie Rogers Joyce, 82, of Pinnacle, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Joyce was born September 18, 1940, in Surry County, to the late Otis Perry and Minnie Palmer Rogers.  Frankie retired from Econo Lodge and was a member of Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church.  She is survived by her husband, Preston Floyd Joyce; two sons and daughters-in-law, Garry and Peggy Joyce and Robert and Camilla Joyce; and three grandchildren, Joseph Joyce, Hannah Joyce, and Nicholas Joyce.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Joyce was preceded in death by five sisters, Eugene Smith, Susie Taylor, Alice McKinney, Bessie Creed, and Georgie Vaughn.  The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 3, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church.  The service will be conducted by the Rev. Rachael Brooks, and burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1700, Pilot Mountain, NC  27041; or Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 1427 Edgewood Drive, Suite 101, Mount Airy, NC  27030.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
