Fred Matthew Floyd

Fred Matthew Floyd, 68, passed away on June 27, 2024. He was born in Danville, VA on May 1, 1956 to the late Leona Jean Prather Floyd and the late Richard Montgomery Floyd Jr.

Fred was of the Christian Faith, and was a member of Moseley Memorial Methodist Church in Danville, VA. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was self employed and ran Piedmont Professional Tree Service for many years previous to his retirement.

Fred is survived by a son; Aaron Floyd of Danville, VA; two brothers; Richard Wayne Floyd (Kathy) of Danville, VA; William Keen Floyd (Lori) of Axton, VA; two grandchildren; Carter Reid Floyd and Zachary Lee Hancock; and the Mother of his child; Carolyn Floyd.
