Fredrick Martin, 52, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Monday, November 4, 2024. He was born November 9, 1971, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Willie Grant Martin and Leona Morrison Martin.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Beatrice Martin and Kitty Jolley; brothers, Billy Martin, Zan Martin, Clyde Martin, Willie Martin, Daryl Martin and Andrew Gravley.Fredrick attended Henry County Public Schools. He enjoyed landscaping and took pride in his work. In his free time, you could find him cooking and creating a yummy meal in the kitchen. Every chance to relax, he would be on the riverbank with his line cast, waiting for the next big catch.He is survived by daughters, Angela Hightower, Santaley Wilson Martin, and Kaylee Hightower; son, Tybin Martin; sisters, Jacqueline Myers, Ruby Butler (Clarence), Hildred Moorman, Sally Totter, and Sharonne Martin (David); and two grandchildren.The family will be receiving friends and extended family at 174 Silver Burch Lane, Collinsville, Virginia 24078.All Services will be private.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
