Gay Charles Keith

With great sadness and love we announce that Gay Charles Keith, 89, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away, Sunday, May 11, 2025. 

Gay was born in Covington, Virginia on July 4, 1935, to the late Joseph C. Charles and Martha Charles. She enjoyed her many pets and riding horses. 

Gay was preceded in death by her husband Glenn M. Keith; brother, Johnny Charles, Sr.; son, Donald H. Williamson, Jr.; as well as various other family members. 

Gay is survived by her daughter Dana K. Lawfield; step-sons, Robert Keith, Clifford Keith and wife Ruth; as well as 7 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and various other family members. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Snyder Nursing Home for their care and kindness to her. 

Gay will be greatly missed by many. A service is not planned at this time, the family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
