George Bernard Barnes, 66, of Salem, Virginia passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024. George was born on April 8, 1958 in Pennsylvania. He is predeceased by his parents, George and Rosemary Barnes and his brother, James Barnes.
Surviving are his wife, Mona Barnes of 27 years; his brother, William Barnes; his niece, Jasmine Barnes; step daughters, Chastity Gabert, Sarah Redman and husband, Charles; 7 grandchildren, Justin Snyder, Devin Hamblet and husband, Logan, Lovissa Redman, Matthew Gabert, Lilliana Redman, Gracie Redman, Trevor Redman; 1 great granddaughter, Lennon Shea Hamblet; aunts, uncles, cousins, special cousin, Eunice, and friends; Diane Frazier, loving sister-in-law.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
