George Everette Cardwell

George Everett Cardwell, 74, of Patrick Springs, departed this life on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.  He was born on December 27, 1948 to the late Everett Cardwell and the late Sara Lovelace Cardwell.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert “Bob” Cardwell.
George is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Teresa Bryant Cardwell; daughter, Apryl Cardwell Norman (Larry Norman, Jr.); grandson, Chase Everett Norman; brothers, Larry Cardwell (Gayle) and Billy Cardwell.
George was a certified welder fabricator and electrician by trade and also a lifelong member of Patrick Henry Saddle Club. Riding his horses, camping, fishing, and all outdoor activities with his family and friends were his passion. He lived life to the fullest and truly enjoyed life. He enjoyed great times with friends and family and could tell a story like no other.
The family will receive friends and family from 10:30 to 11:00 am on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with a memorial service to be conducted at 11:00 am with Pastor Jason Alverson officiating.  The burial will be at a later date.
