George Knox McNeill

George Knox McNeill, II, age 42, of Roanoke passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 16, 2023 following a long illness.George was born July 10, 1981 in Bristol, Tennessee and lived in the area all of his life. He was the son of George Knox McNeill, Sr. and the late Deborah Ann Blaylock Hale. George enjoyed football, especially the Redskins.In addition to his mother, George was preceded in death by his step-father, James Hale; and brother, Lee Myers. He is survived by his sister, Hope (Dana) LaMonde; step-brother, James Lewis Hale; and step-sister, Tracy Hale all of Roanoke; step-father, Garland Lee Myers, Sr. of Thaxton; nephews: Dana Elliott LaMonde, II and Brandon Lee Myers.A memorial service honoring George’s life will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 26 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville with Chaplain Dr. Joann C.
