George O'Dell Sheppard

George O’Dell Sheppard, 71, of Roanoke, passed away unexpectedly on January 26,2026 at home. He was preceded in death by his wife Michelle Shepperd; parents, Earnest and Lula Sheppard; brothers, Robert Sheppard, Paul Sheppard, Larry Sheppard.

He is survived by his daughters, Heather Lee, Rebecca Sheppard, Amber Parr; grandchildren, Ashley McGouyrk, Tony Tinsley, Joshua Shepperd-McKillp, Eden Crambelitt, Alysha Roark, Patrick Chance, Alura Lee, J.D. Eldridge; brother, Richard “Chester” Sheppard; sisters, Mable Harden, Gertrude Sheppard, Francis Shelor, Christine Hacket. Dorothy Sheppard; brother in-law, Bruce Evans; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Lotz Roanoke Chapel on February 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
