Geraldine Marie Wheat Martin, 78, of Fieldale, Virgina, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025. She was born on September 25, 1946, to the late Jean Snyder Wheat and George Gilbert

Wheat.

Geraldine was a devoted member of Collinsville Baptist Church, where she faithfully served for many years. She was a woman whose heart was centered around her family, showing deep devotion, love, and care to her husband, children, and all those she held dear. Geraldine had a gentle spirit and a special love for birds, finding joy and beauty in their presence. She was a loving and caring mother and wife, whose life was marked by kindness, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved most.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Lester Martin; daughter, Jean Keffer (Gene); sisters, Karen Casey, Debra Maddocks, and Bridget Madaks (Carmine); and brother, Patrick Wheat (Elaine).

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Roselawn Burial Park with Pastor Eric Keiselbach officiating.
