Glenna Mae Hollandsworth

Glenna Mae Henderson Hollandsworth, 77, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024. She was born October 2, 1946, in Saltville, Virginia, to the late Paul Jackson Henderson and Bertha Bellamy Henderson.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Cletis “Sissy” Siddle.Glenna was a member of Kingdom Point Church in Ridgeway, Virginia. The highlight of her week was playing Rook on Thursdays with her family. She loved her cat “Kitty” and had a heart for all animals, she even had a groundhog that visited her frequently. Glenna loved collecting costume jewelry, angels, and loved to sing. If you were to meet Glenna out and about, she was joyful, always greeted you with a smile and open arms; she never met a stranger. After several battles with cancer, each lasting multiple years, Glenna kept her faith in the Lord and has now found her ultimate healing.She is survived by her husband, Glen Hollandsworth; daughters, Dawn Crabtree (Jonathan), Monica Cole (Rodney), and Becky Conway; sister, Barbara Hite (Ervin); brother, Darrell Henderson (Susan); brother-in-law, Keith Siddle; grandchildren, Courtney Cole, Nathanael Adams, Kylee Crabtree, and Jordyn Crabtree; many nieces and nephews.The funeral will be Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastors David Bryant, Travis Cassell, and Linda Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
