Gustavo E. Galvez

Gustavo E. Galvez, 78, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023. He was born in Ecuador on September 21, 1945, to the late Glafira Cobo Galvez and the late Teodoro Galvez. He is survived by his special friend and partner of 41 years, Mr. Donald Paris.

Gustavo was self employed as a architect for many years while living in Ecuador. Upon moving to the United States, he worked for over 30 years as an interpreter in the court system. He also had a special love for animals.

In addition to his special friend Donald, Gustavo is survived by a sister: Hermania and a brother Eduardo; a special Niece; Jacqueline Martin and husband Patrick; and two step sons; Stephen Edward Paris and Daniel Cory Paris.

In addition to his parents, Gustavo was predeceased by five sisters; Nimia, Hiralda, Juanita, Rosario, and Elsa; and 1 brother.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Danville Area Humane Society at P.O. Box 3352, Danville, VA 24541.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with pastor Wayne Aaron officiating.
