Harry Cunningham Harris

Harry Cunningham Harris, 82, of Salem, VA, formerly of Clayton County, GA, entered into eternal rest on September 18th, 2022. Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth E. Loop Harris, and William Henry Harris; brother, Thomas E. Harris; stepson Christopher Self.
Harry was proud to have served this country in the marine corps. He was an airline mechanic for Delta airlines in Atlanta for 30 years.
Those left here on this earth to cherish his memory include his wife, Joyce Harris; Daughter, Ruth Ellen Harris; Stepsons, Mike Self (Katrina), Shane Self; grandchildren, Mckinley, Kameron, Kyndall Harris-Rollins, Christian and Zachery Self; special cousins, Virginia A Newton, John “Johnny” Newton.
A graveside service to honor Harry’s life will be conducted at Sherwood Memorial Park, on September 23rd, 2022, at 2 pm. Online condolences can be left for the family by visiting www.johnmoakey.com.
