Howard M. Cook

Howard M. Cook, Jr., widower of Katie Rupe Cook, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 10, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard M. and Agnes Manuel Cook; sons, Wayne Cook and Melvin Cook; son-in-law, Denny Adams.
Howard was a member of Colonial Baptist Church and was a retired brick mason.

He will be missed and remembered by his children, Allen Cook (Francis), Linda Cook, Brenda Adams and Deedra Choate (Dale); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road with Pastor Joel Wegner officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the funeral home.
