Hugh Brian Mosley

 
Mr. Hugh Brian Mosley, 53, of Mount Airy, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, July 10, 2023.  Brian was born September 27, 1969, in Surry County, to Jay Hugh and Thelma Grizzell Mosley.  Brian worked with his dad in construction since he was fifteen. He was the owner of Mosley Construction. Brian is survived by his two daughters, Hannah and Haley Mosley, of the home; his parents and two sisters and their spouses: Kim and Daron Atkins and Tara and Jeff Brown; his nephew Ethan Brown and his wife Morgan and all his fur babies. Brian was preceded in death by his nephew Evan Brown. 
Brian was a master carpenter and woodworker. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He had a giving heart and was well-loved and respected by everyone who came to know him.
Family visitation will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy with the funeral service following immediately after at 11:00 AM. Pastor Glinard Lawson and Pastor Grant Atkins will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Union Community Cemetery Fund, C/O Graham Mosley, 1090 Bray Ford Road, Dobson, NC  27017.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
