Imogene Bedwell Wingate

Imogene Bedwell Wingate, 88, of Roanoke, passed away, Friday, April 25, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Nannie Bedwell; husband Joe Donald Wingate; daughter Karen Wingate Agnew.

Surviving are her brother Robert Bedwell and wife Gussie; children, Susan Fleming and husband Garry and Greg Wingate and wife Kim; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous friends who she considered family.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Imogene’s name to a charity of your choice.

Services will be held Monday, May 5, 2025 at 2 pm at Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Chapel. Interment will follow services at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service time. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home (540)366-0707.
