Imogene Oldham Bumpass

Imogene “Jeannie” Bumpass, 94, of Danville, VA passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Jeannie was born December 6, 1928, in Oklahoma to the late Robert M. Oldham and the late Jessie Mann Oldham.

Mrs. Bumpass was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star. She also loved teaching Sunday School and mentoring the young ladies of the church.

Jeannie is survived by her son, William Bumpass (Vivian); sister, Alpha Oldham; and special niece, Becky Jones.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William “Bill” E. Bumpass; daughter, Shirley Maye Adams; and brother, Murel Oldham.

There will be a private service at a later date.
