Iris Lynnette Arrington

Iris Lynnette Arrington, age 59 of Danville, Virginia passed away January 21, 2025 at SOVAH Health in Danville. She was born June 27, 1965 in Suffolk, Virginia to the late Bobby Arrington and the late Alma Page Moore Arrington.

She graduated from Tunstall High School and earned her PhD in Computer Science. She attended Vandola Baptist Church, was an avid Carolina Hurricanes fan as well as a music lover, and she will always be remembered for being loving and kindhearted.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Arrington.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, Mt. Hermon Chapel with Dr. Scott Bortz officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., also at Norris Funeral Service.
