Iva B. Redman
Iva Redman was born on August 4, 1954, to Fred and Jackie Bradley in Hot Springs, Virginia. She passed away on October 11, 2026, surrounded in her final days by the unconditional love, support, and comfort of her family. Iva’s life was a beautiful testament to the importance of family, devotion, and kindness toward others. As the oldest daughter of seven children, she was often the glue that held her siblings together. She loved her family deeply and wholeheartedly, a love that could be felt in everything she did. Iva spent a lot of her life “across the swinging bridge” with her grandparents, Lenora and William Bradley. Her grandmother taught her how to cook and Iva developed a lifelong love of cooking. Through her meals, she found a way to bring people together, foster a sense of community, and create lasting memories. Warm and welcoming, she was always ready to offer a plate of food to anyone who would accept it. Iva had a special gift for making people feel at home and turning ordinary moments into something meaningful and memorable. Iva met and married the love of her life, Charlie Redman. Together, they built a life rooted in love, family, and cherished traditions. Their home and the traditions they created became a source of joy and connection for those they loved. Iva was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charlie Redman; her parents, Fred and Jackie Bradley; and her brother, Timmy Bradley. She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts forever: her sisters, Bessie Baltodano, Donna Ray, and Barbara Armentrout; her brothers, Ronnie Bradley and Jimmy Bradley; and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, Iva’s body will be cremated. A private burial will be held with the immediate family.”
