Jahnavia Sadee’Rose Hairston, 19, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024. She was born September 22, 2004, in Martinsville, Virginia, Marquita and Marcus Gravely of the home and John Koger, Jr.Jahnavia transitioned alongside her cousin, Azetta Sone’ Hairston.Jahnavia served as a CNA at Mulberry Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation and was a 2022 Magna Vista Graduate. In her free time, you could find her braiding hair and listening to her favorite artist Rod Wave. Jahnavia loved people and never met a stranger, she could start a conversation with anyone. Although she loved people, she loved her family the most and would go to war for them. If you were blessed enough to speak with her for even five minutes, you would’ve been friends for life. If you ask her family, the one thing she always had with her was a snack, whether it be gushers, or oatmeal cookies, she wasn’t going anywhere hungry. Jahnavia and Azetta were the best of friends, they loved each other hard. They were always found together and were each other’s ride or die in life and in transition.In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Ariana Gravely and Caleb Gravely of the home, Jaliyah Hairston, Alyricia Carter, Johnathan Penn, and Ky’dion Reed; grandparents, Sadie Hairston, and Monica Roy, James Martin, Nathan Waller; and great grandmother, Lenora Gravely.Services will be announced at a later date.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
