James Ashley King

James Ashley King, 67, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024. He was born August 26, 1957, in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina to the late William Arthur King and Betty Nyburg King.James was a 1975 graduate of Roanoke Rapids Hight School. He was a sweet, loving, caring, strong and independent man. James loved woodworking and was amazing at it. He enjoyed feeding the deer, growing his own garden and loved his family dearly.He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Lynne Adkins King; daughter, Lindsay Penn (Montae); sons, Brandon Leigh Austin (Lakeisha); brother, Mike King (Janice); and grandchildren, Anthony James Penn, Myia Annette Penn, and Savanna Alexis Sanchez-Austin.All services will be private.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
