James Burke

James “Jim” Albert Burke, 78, entered into rest on June 15, 2024.

Those left to cherish his memory are his life partner, Marie Baker; son, Eric Thomason and wife Nella; daughters, Melissa Burke and Lora Burke; brothers, Johnny Roy Burke, Jr. and wife Nellie, Robert Shelby Burke and wife Donna, and Phillip Dean Burke and wife Brenda; sister, Sue Ellen Burke Behmer; stepsisters, Peggy Markham and Kathy Lynn Ayers; and multiple nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Daleville on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
