James (Jim, Jimmy) Edward Garlick

Jim was surrounded by his family when Heaven opened and the Lord took daddy home, where he was reunited with his wife Maggie and his parents Bill and Gracie Garlick.

Jim is survived by his brother, Bobby. His children Mike Wray (Sybil), Loretta Martin (Glen), Brenda Hunt (Jerry) and Charles Garlick (Regina).

His grandchildren Mike Wray Jr, Steven Wray (Heather), Heather Martin, Kimmie Shah (Neelesh), Jessica (Ray), Kelly Greer, Steve Garlick.

His great grandchildren Lance, Violet, Elizabeth, Christine (Daniel), Maci, Hendrix, Wyatt, Cohen, Kaisa, Remy, Colt, Kinley, Kash and great great grandchild Grayson

Jim was an Amry Vet and served during the Korean War. After his service, he continued his family’s business with his brother co-owning Garlick’s Garage where he worked for 50+ years.

Visitation will be Monday, September 23rd from 6pm – 8 pm at Lotz Funeral Home, Salem, Va.   A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th at 11am in Cedar Lawn Memorial, Roanoke, VA. Officiating will be Pastor Kim Martin.
