James Lee Manns

James Lee Manns, 51, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022. He was born March 14, 1971, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Douglas Manns and Marie Rumley Manns. James attended Miracles in Motion Interdenominational Church of God and wasa veteran of the United States Army. He was a dedicated employee of The Medicine Shoppe for more than ten years. He was also a 1990 graduate of Bassett High School. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Tammy Manns, Margret “Ann” Reid; brothers, Ernest “Bo” Manns, Steve Manns, and Matthew Manns. He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Wright Manns; daughters, Lyla Manns, Charity Thomas; sons, Malcolm Manns, Elijah “Bishop” Meeks, Anthony “AJ” Harris, Noah Thomas; sister, Christine Fain; brother, Douglas “Cop” Manns; step-granddaughter, Havana Scales, along with two other step-grandchildren; father and mother in-law; Earl and Donna Wright; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members. The memorial service for James Lee Manns will be held at a later date privately. Family will be receiving friend at the home between the hours of 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Mask are required.
