James Leroy Burch

James Leroy Burch, 68, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023. He was born September 6, 1954, to the late Leo Franklin Burch and Mary Elsie Owens Burch.

James was a farmer for over 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren, as they were the center of his world. He enjoyed rabbit hunting and he especially loved farming.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Connie Burch; brothers, Leo Burch, Robert “Bobby” Burch, John “Porky” Burch.

He is survived by his wife, Arleen Gail Wedding Burch; daughter, Tammy Burch; son, James Michael Burch; sons/grandsons, Tony Ortiz and Austin Burch; sister, Joan Murphy; grandchildren, Kirsten Hughes, Clayton Burch, Hunter Burch, Lucas Jackson; great grandchildren, Maddie Ortiz, and Emily Boyd.

All services will be private.
