James Walker Leftwich

James “Jimmy” Walker Leftwich, 78, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born on Sunday, September 28, 1947 to the late Frank Walker Leftwich & Margaret Padgett Leftwich. Jimmy is also preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Anne Roach Leftwich & brother, William “Bill” Jennings.

Jimmy enjoyed camping, fishing and riding motorcycles.

Surviving is his children, Tammy Meadows, Scott Leftwich (Sandy) & Josina Nash; grandchildren, Danielle Crews, Tiffany Myers, Josh Leftwich, Jenna Bay, Tyler Nash, Colton Nash, Logan Nash, Dustin Revels, Tommy Revels & Wesley Revels; great-grandchildren, Aayden Crews, Waylynn Myers, Baylee Myers, Mallory Revels, Haylee Lewis, Kaylee Lewis, Eli Revels, Levi Revels, Carson Revels, Emsley Crane, Sadie Bay, Granger Bay, Jolene Leftwich & Rowland Leftwich; brother, Paul Leftwich.

There will be no services at this time per Jimmy’s wishes.
